How do i add delivery instructions?Updated 2 months ago
Once your order is processed and has arrived at your local depot for delivery, DPD will send you an email or text message with your consignment number and an hours time-slot.
To update your delivery instructions or to select a safe place for DPD to leave your delivery if you are not in, please either click on "Show my options" in the email you receive from DPD or visit the link below and enter your order reference number. https://www.dpd.co.uk/content/how-can-we-help/index.jsp
We recommend downloading the DPD app, if you can. You can download it onto your device from your app store. It will let you do the following:
- Pinpoint your address on a map or add 'what3words so the driver can find it
- Add a note for the driver
- Add a photo of your property to help drivers locate the correct address
- Let the driver know you need more time to get to the door
- Set what happens if you aren't in:
- Leave in a safe place
- Choose a preferred neighbour
- Select a nearby shop for collection
- You can also put your consignment number in to track deliveries through the app and see past deliveries.
Please Note: As per DPD's processes, drivers are NOT permitted to follow leave safe or delivery instructions that are written as notes on doors. The Drivers will only follow instructions that are updated via your delivery email or the DPD app.
